THE WILL OF WILLIAM BADNAL, YEOMAN, OF BRADLEY, CUMNOR, BERKSHIRE: 1729

In the Name of God Amen, I William Badnal of Bradley in ye Parrish of Comnor in the County of Berks yeoman being of Sound mind and Memory but weak in body but sensible of ye uncertainty of Human life doe by these presens make this my last will and Testament   

Imprimis I give to my daughter Elizabeth Sellwood ten shillings

Item I give to her three sons William, John, and Thomas Sellwood five shillings a peeice,

Item I give to my son William Badnal five pounds,

Item I give to my youngest daughter Martha twenty pounds at ye age of one and twenty, hopeing she will please her brother John Badnal whom I give all ye residue of my money stock and make him my sole executor in wittness whereof I have sett my hand and seal this thirtieth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred twenty nine....Signed sealed and declared to be my last Will and Testamant
