WILL OF THOMAS BADNALL, FARMER, OF KINNERSLEY
 SHROPSHIRE: 1779

This is the last Will and Testament of Thomas Badnall of Kinnersley in the County of Salop Farmer First my Will is that my Debts & funeral expence be paid with the payment whereof I charge my personal & leashold Estate.  Also I give & devise to my four Daughters Twenty pounds apiece to be paid to them respectively at their respective ages of Twenty One.  Also I give & devise my leasehold Estate in Kinnersley or elswhere to my dear & loving wife for & during the term of her natural life she maintaining & educating my Daughters if she continue a widow and unmarried & from & after her decease or marrying again which shall first happen, then I give & devise my said leashold Estate to my four Daughters as tenants in Common & their heirs & my Will is that if any of my said Daughters shall Dye before they or she shall be intitled to their or her part of my said Leashold Estate leaving child or children lawfully begotten then such part of my said leashold estate as woud have come to my said Daughter or Daughters in case they or she had lived until my wifes death or marrying again shall go to such of my said Daughter or Daughters child or children respectively as shall be their or her heirs or heir at law.    And I charge my said personal & leashold Estate with the payment of my Debts & legacies & subject them then I give & devise all the rest & residue of my personal Estate to my said wife & I hereby constitute & appoint my said wife & Sister Margaret Roe Executor of this my last Will & Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand & Seal this Eighth Day of February in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred & Seventy Nine.

Signed sealed published & delivered by the said Testator Thomas Badnall as & for his last Will & Testament in the presence of us who at his request & in his presence have subscribed our names as Witnesses hereunto an inter lineation between the Seventh & Eighth line being first made
