The bequests included annuities to the treasurers of the Leek Wesleyan Brunswick Sunday School and the Leek Mill Street Ragged School. His wife and William Allen a Leek solicitor were his executors and the will was witnessed by James Hudson and John Hawkesworth -clerks to Mr Allen.
