Arthur Radcliffe Boswell and John Daintry of Coburg, Canada were his original executors. A debt which he and his wife owed Margaret Houseman is mentioned in one codicil and a mortgage made to him by Mary E. Appleby and her husband Alexander in the will. The testator died at Coburg on 9th January 1889 and his will, etc. was proved in the Principal Registry on 23 November 1892.
